Introducing our charity of the year 2026/27: Acorns Children’s Hospice

We’re delighted to share that the team has chosen Acorns Children’s Hospice as our Charity of the Year for 2026/27.

Acorns provides specialist care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, as well as support for their families.

Their work focuses on delivering comfort, care and practical support when it is needed most.

Why Acorns?

Acorns was chosen because of the incredible care and support they provide, including:

• Compassionate, specialist care for children with complex needs
• Support for families through respite, end-of-life and bereavement services
• A dedicated approach to supporting children and families during extremely difficult times
• A strong local presence across the West Midlands

How we’ll be getting involved

Over the coming year, our team will be coming together to support Acorns through a range of activities, including:

• Fundraising events and challenges
• Volunteering opportunities
• Awareness days and charity initiatives
• Payroll giving and internal fundraising activities

We’ll be sharing updates along the way on our social media and in our newsletters, so keep an eye out to see what we’re up to and how you can get involved.
